How Swivel collects, uses, shares, and protects information.
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how THE COOP VENTURES LLCd/b/a Swivel ("Swivel," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, contact us, book a demo, or use our platform and related services.
For customer data processed through the Swivel platform, we generally act as a service provider or processor on behalf of our customer. The customer decides what data is connected to Swivel and remains responsible for its own notices, permissions, and lawful basis for processing that data.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, work email, company, role, scheduling preferences, messages, and other details you submit through our website, demo forms, email, or sales conversations.
If you use the Swivel platform, we may process account information, user credentials, workspace settings, permissions, audit logs, support requests, and operational information needed to provide and secure the service.
Customers may connect business systems to Swivel so our agent teams can read retention-relevant signals. Depending on the configuration, that customer data may include usage events, billing state, subscription tenure, lifecycle stage, engagement patterns, support context, CRM fields, customer identifiers, or other data the customer chooses to make available. Swivel does not require customer names, emails, payment card numbers, or sensitive personal details for agent reasoning unless a customer separately configures the service to provide them.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, and basic interaction data. We may use cookies or similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, security, and performance.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to inquiries and schedule demos;
- provide, operate, secure, and improve the Swivel service;
- analyze retention signals, generate recommendations, support human approval workflows, and measure outcomes for customers;
- manage accounts, permissions, integrations, support, billing, and customer communications;
- detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents, abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access;
- send product, security, administrative, and marketing communications, subject to your choices and applicable law;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. AI processing and customer data
Swivel uses AI systems to help customers identify retention risk, evaluate save plays, draft recommendations, route customer-facing actions through human approval, and measure results. Customer data is used to provide the service to that customer.
We do not use customer data to train general-purpose AI models unless the customer has expressly agreed. Customer-facing actions are intended to remain subject to customer review, approval, and configuration.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers and vendors that help us operate our website and service, including hosting, security, analytics, scheduling, communications, support, and business operations. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.
We may share information with customer administrators and authorized users inside a customer workspace, with third-party integrations configured by the customer, or as otherwise directed by the customer.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request; to protect rights, safety, security, or property; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; or with your consent.
5. Cookies, analytics, and scheduling tools
Our website may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, and embedded scheduling providers to understand site usage, remember preferences, protect the service, and let you book time with us. Your browser may let you block or delete cookies. If you disable cookies, some site features may not work correctly.
If we add advertising cookies, cross-context behavioral advertising, or other tracking that changes how information is shared, we will update this policy and provide any required choices.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service. Customer data retention is governed by the applicable customer agreement, configuration, and deletion instructions.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
Swivel is operated from the United States. If you access the website or service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your location.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask us to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict use of personal information we control. You may also object to certain processing or opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, the GDPR, or the UK GDPR. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
If your request relates to data Swivel processes on behalf of one of our customers, we may direct you to that customer or work with that customer to respond.
10. Children
Swivel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by posting the updated policy on this page or through another appropriate channel. The "Last updated" date shows when the policy was last revised.
